Samsung launches its premium smartphones every year to compete with Apple and Google and this year comes with Samsung Galaxy S24. Samsung, Apple and Google walk shoulder to shoulder in the battle of smartphones. Samsung is not only Apple’s biggest rival but also Google’s. Some minor changes and shortcomings in these leading smartphone companies are being improved.
The Samsung Galaxy S series is now going to welcome the S4. According to Samsung, there are preparations to launch three phones in the market. Which will include Samsung Galaxy S24, S24 Plus and S4 Ultra. Samsung is going to launch these in the next 6 months.
Design of Upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24
The Samsung Galaxy S24 flagship smartphone will feature flattened side frames similar to the brand’s recently released foldables in design similarity. Another significant change in the design will be slightly rounded edges, similar to current Apple flagships. The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will be made from a strong titanium frame, similar to the iPhone 15. After Ultra, Samsung will make smartphones using the same material as last time in the remaining models.
Display Size And Quality
According to the leaks, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will have a refresh rate of 144Hz which will make using the mobile buttery smooth. The smartphone will come with a 6.9-inch LTPO OLED panel with QHD+ resolution display. In which the size of the screen has been increased. reported to be super bright with a peak brightness of 2,200 nits (compared to 1,750 nits for the S23 Ultra). The bezels will be kind chunky, though.
Camera Performance
This time Samsung seems to be doing great work on the camera. Samsung is going to leave its previous smartphone behind and challenge other smartphone companies with 200MP (HP25X) camera. In which there can be a sensor measuring 1/1.3” in size. 200MP will be the main camera. The rear camera of Samsung Galaxy S24 may get major upgrades, including a new 200MP sensor (HP25X).
It will still be 1/1.3” in size but will feature better autofocus with 4-in-1 and 16-in-1 pixel binning. Additionally, the 3x telephoto camera will get a new 50MP sensor (1/2.52”, with 0.7μm pixels before binning, up from the 10MP 1/3.52” sensor with 1.12μm pixels). The 12MP ultra-wide and 12MP selfie cameras are not being upgraded. The periscope module will stick to its 10MP sensor. This time the sensor of the camera has been enlarged by 1 inch so that it will take more bright and clear photos in the dark.
The zooming capability of Samsung Galaxy S24 has also been improved. It will have a 50MP telephoto lens and a 12MP periscope telephoto lens. Which is supported by a telephoto lens which will be capable of 12MP optical zoom and 120MP digital zoom. There will also be a 12 MP ultra wide angle camera in which the view capture will be better and wider.
Performance And Processor
This time Samsung has full planning to come ahead by defeating Apple and Google. Samsung will come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor in its premium flagship Samsung Galaxy S24. In some other markets or regions, it can be found with Exynos 2400 chipset. Because according to market reports Exynos is making a comeback, but it looks like it is about Galaxy S24/S24 plus. The S24 Ultra is specifically expected to have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Battery Performance: Samsung Galaxy S24
There are reports of Samsung coming in the market with old 5,000mAh battery. In which there will be 45W wired charging. Which is a fast charger, Samsung claims that with its fast charging the phone gets charged 50% in 30 minutes. The smartphone will come with Type-C charger which is a better thing.
Like every time, Samsung is ready to create a stir in the market this time too. Samsung competes directly with Apple.
